My father in law is a mechanic and taught auto mechanics for over 30 years so when I have car trouble I typically seek help from him. However, he lives 2000 miles away so he can't always be maintaining and looking over my cars. A few weeks back I was test driving a used car when I noticed some heavy vibrations when braking and decided to go back and do some research to find out why brakes vibrate. Why do brakes vibrate?
